Old Trail Village continues to produce consistent sales through the typically busy spring and into the second quarter of 2010. As of 2 June 2010, there are 34 residential units under contract or sold within the community since 1 January 2010.
Land sales continue to support the new construction market; of the 34 residential sales, 27 are for new construction. In addition to the sales of new homes listed in the MLS as under contract or sold, sales of an additional 9 home sites have been entered into the MLS, with more on the way.
Of note, Beights Corporation, developer of Old Trail Village, sold its remaining two home sites in the Upper Ballard section of the community. Of the available lots in Ballard Field as of 1 January 2010, only 1 remains available for purchase from the developer. Home sales in West End Square are continuing at a brisk pace with new home products under construction from several members of the Old Trail Builders Guild.
Attention is turning now to the Creekside neighborhood, which offers residential products beginning in the $500,000’s. Also upcoming are the home sites in the newest phase of Old Trail Village, Village Commons. Site work is underway on this section, located south and east of the Old Trail Village Center. Village Commons will incorporate single-family detached homes, town homes, and an apartment building. Residential products will be available starting in the low $200,000s.
